How to delete files stored locally in Adobe Reader for iOs?

It's easy to do when files are stored in the cloud, but I can't figure out how to delete or organize files that are stored locally on the iOs device.

In the list with all the files click on the “three dot” icon in the top right corner (this is based on what I see running on an iphone), then select “Select”. Once you have one or more files selected, you can delete using the tradh can button at the bottom of the screen.

It seems like it should work but the trash can is "greyed" out.
