Letter F

I'm trying to edit a text from a letter I exported to a PDF. The letter F will not become small. Do you know how I can get the letter to be a small f here in adobe. Yesterday the letter f was the letter L l.

Are you able to edit other PDF documents without any issues, or does this problem occur across multiple files? If possible, please try editing a different PDF to see if the issue persists.
