I've been trying to figure out what went wrong with my homework. My professor gives us a pdf that we have to fill in, and I've been doing it using the app because of how convenient it usually is. However, today I found out that I've lost mulitple hours of work. It's just gone. All the advice that I've been able to find has been with a computer, but I did this work on my phone. I was able to recover the first page of my work, but I have multiple pages that are still missing. I'm not sure why I can recover the 1st page (and I could only recover that page using my laptop. That first page still isn't showing up on my phone in the original file for some reason, so I made a copy of the original from my laptop and my phone's able to show it, I did use cloud storage). All of my edits to the pdf were drawings, if that makes a difference. I've used Adobe for my math classes for a year now, and I've never had this kind of issue before, and I had no issues when I used drawings on 20 pages of math homework last week. The app didn't crash or anything, I finished my homework and then I closed out of the app, and I only opened it again about half an hour ago and saw that my work had disappeared.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat Reader mobile app and the OS you are using? To check the version of the app, tap on the profile icon > About Adobe Acrobat.
If you have backed up the files on adobe cloud storage please login here https://adobe.ly/3XAaWbD with the Adobe ID and password and check for your file under the Documents tab > Your Documents and see if that helps.

The version is 24.8.1.34717 and I'm using a Samsung. I just tried doing that, but still only the first page of the document is filled in with my work.

I hope you're doing well, and thank you for sharing the screen recording and the PDF file. After reviewing the PDF, it appears to have been created using a non-Adobe application.
To help resolve the issue, please consider the following:
Have you tried editing a different PDF file to determine if the problem is specific to this particular file or affects all PDFs?
Could you log out of the application, restart your device, and log back in using the same Adobe ID? This may help resolve the issue.
Please let us know how it goes!

Hi @ elizabeth_1916
We’re sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing.
Could you please try drawing annotations on a different PDF file to see if the problem persists?
Also, we’ve just released a new version (24.09.00) on the Samsung Store. Kindly update the app, then reboot your device once the update is complete. Afterward, please check if the issue still occurs.
If the problem continues, could you share your Samsung device model with us for further investigation?
