Search feature not highlighting

The seach feature in the pdf is nit responding appropriately. It highlights the first result but not the next results that are searched.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

 

Would you mind sharing the version of the OS and the Acrobat App you are using? Tap on profile > About Acrobat and try updating the app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) and reboot the device and see if that works https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobat/android/en/troubleshooting.html#determine-your-app-version

Also, check if it's a file-specific issue or if it happens with all the PDFs. Please share a small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs for more clarity.

The searching function doesn't highlight the result at all... have to locate the word in the context myself...

Actually the problem is more subtle than not finding it.  But it is very annoying and why won't Adobe fix it

the actual problem is that search doesn't highlight the FIRST occurrence of the search item on a page. So if there IS only one occurrence on a page it's the same as not highlighting it.  Second, third, other occcurances etc on the same page do get highlighted.

 

I don't know where you report bugs to Adobe

Same issue here.  Acrobat fully updated.  Support call was beyond useless, unless the intended outcome of support is to waste time without resolution
