Sharing documents via email.

Why can I no longer share documents via email? When I try, a pop up tells me it has taken too long too generate, and that it's timed out.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

 

Are you trying to use the Share option on the menu bar? Would you mind trying the option "Send a copy" by clicking the three dots after opening the document or the three dots on the right side of the name?

 

You may refer to the given links for more depending on the platform:

For Android: Share and review files — Acrobat for Android Help

 

Please try the option and let us know if this helps.

I am using Apple iPad. 
When I open the folder, I select the three dots next to the document to be shared, I select share, enter an email address to share it to, and select send. 
A pop up appears, "generating shared file on document cloud"

Shortly another pop up appears, "UNABLE TO OPEN REVIEW, the request took too long and timed out"

We tried reproducing the workflow at our end, but it worked fine.

Would you mind trying to share the same file from the document cloud portal: https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/documents/

 

While you do so, I suggest you try the above workaround. Also, if the issue is with a specific file, please share the file with us (on private message if the content is sensitive) for further investigation.
