@dev_1084 trying to decipher, you can't edit your PDFs in Acrobat Reader Mobile, it is a paid feature that requires a subscription to either Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, or Acrobat Studio, as shown in the image.

The "continue clear cache" error you're experiencing, even after reinstalling, strongly suggests that the app's data is not being completely removed during the uninstallation process. This can happen on Android and can be particularly persistent when the app's cache or a related system cache is corrupted. When you uninstall a mobile app, it often leaves behind certain folders and files that store user data, preferences, and, critically, cache. This is done to preserve user settings and app-related documents so that if you reinstall the app, you don't have to start from scratch. However, if this residual data is what's causing the problem, simply reinstalling the app will put the new version in the same broken environment, and the error will immediately reappear.

To fix the persistent "clear cache" error on your mobile device, you'll need to completely wipe the app's data before reinstalling it. First, navigate to your device's Settings, find Apps, and select Adobe Acrobat. Once you're on the app's info page, tap Force Stop, then go to the Storage & cache section. From there, select Clear cache and then Clear storage (or Clear data). Be aware that this will delete all of the app's local files. After you've cleared the data, go back and Uninstall the app. It's a crucial step to reboot your phone before reinstalling the app from the Google Play Store. Finally, open the newly installed app and log back in to your Adobe account. This process ensures the new installation has a completely clean slate, free from any corrupted data.

Hi there

We hope you are doing well. Thanks for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble you are experiencing.

I have checked your Adobe account and found that you have an active plan for Acrobat Premium, which gives you the ability to edit the PDFs on your mobile device https://adobe.ly/47kfwjH

As described  "During pdf editing i am facing continue clear catche error. after doing multiple times install uninstall same situation."

  • Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and seeif that works.
  • What is the version of the Acrobat Mobile application you are using? Tap on the profile icon > About Acrobat and try updating the application to the latest version available on the Play Store and reboot the device once.
  • Please share a small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs for more clarity and further investigation.

Also please try to clear the app cache from your Android device as follows:

  • Go to Android device settings > Apps > Adobe Acrobat > Storage > Clear Cache and reboot the device once

Let us know how it goes.

~Amal
