Sync Bug: Onedrive: Android: it stopped working: Failed to link, contact IT Admin for support

New Here ,
May 25, 2025 May 25, 2025

I've been using Adobe PDF app with my OneDrive scholar account for a long time.

About two weeks ago it suddenly logged me out of OneDrive. And it didn't let me log in anymore, with the message "Failed to link Onedrive, contact IT Admin for support".

I don't think it's a problem of my Admin (my university), because it always worked well. I think it's more likely the fault of the last major update, which was very recently (the one with all the AI stuff and web conversion etc).

I saw that the last update was on May 13th. Now it updated again (22nd May), and the problem persists.

Android version: 15

Adobe PDF app version: 25.5.0.39126

  (both in Spanish -Spain-, dunno if this could be relevant)

I need this to be solved please

Because, unfortunately, this is THE ONLY WAY to open and save pdfs from Onedrive cloud directly.

Hi @assmodeus_9388,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with connecting OneDrive to Acrobat.

Would you mind trying out the steps here:

1. Open Google Play Store;

2. Search for "Intunes Company Portal";

3. Install the app;

4. Launch it once (no need to log in);

5. Try logging in to OneDrive on Acrobat again;

If the steps do not work, you can share the given link to your IT team and ask them to check the deployment steps for OneDrive to your account: https://adobe.ly/4jaz78c.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Souvik.

Hi @assmodeus_9388,

Glad to know that it worked for you.

While this workaround worked for you, we are working on a more tangible solution that wouldn't require additional app installs.

We really appreciate your kind gesture.

Also, marked the statement as correct for future users to use this as a reference.

Please feel free to write to us if you have any further questions/concerns related to Acrobat.

Regards,
Souvik.
