The Court rejects my completed form because it is not "Text searchable".

I got around the following error message: "This form requires Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for Mac or Windows" by filling it in using Adobe Fill & Sign.  Then I filed it electronically with the court by uploading it to electronic service provider OneLegal.  A couple of days later, OneLegal informed me that the court rejected my filing. The notice from the clerk said, "Per e-filing requirements, all filings must be text searchable."

I confirmed that the original (blank) form was text searchable by selecting the search tool, which put a box at the top labeled, "Find in document".  I could pick any of the words appearing on the form (for example, "defendant"), whereupon the first instance of that word becomes highlighted.  Then I opened the form in "Fill & Sign", and filled in just one word.  When I opened it again in Adobe Acrobat Reader, the word I added showed ("test"), but no matter what word I tried to find, I got the message, "No matches found".

I tried exporting the completed form to .doc, .docx, .excell, and powerpoint, then printing to a pdf file, and found that that process restored searchability, but each of those conversions garbled a little or a lot of the document's appearance.  None of these conversions retained the boxes for check marks, so that would nout be viable. 

I checked documents that I recently had scanned and e-mailed back to me, by both the local Postal Annex and the local FedEx store, and found that none of them came back as text searchable.  I could try the other 2 scanning services (the UPS store and Mailboxes etc,) but it is starting to look like the only way to file this is by the antiquated; make three copies of the five page form, the 4 single page MC025 forms, the 7 pages of exhibits, and drive the 60 miles one way to the Central courthouse, and stand in line to file my paper copies.

Please tell me there is an easier way to do this with my Android tablet!

You posted to the orphaned forum Acrobat Reader Mobile (Beta), and I do not think your question is about an issue with the Beta version. I can move your post for you.

Your first sentence says:

Did you use Reader DC on macOS or on Windows as required?

Your last sentence says:

"Please tell me there is an easier way to do this with my Android tablet!"

Acrobat Reader Mobile is not the same as Acrobat Reader (desktop).

Did you use the mobile version or the desktop version? Do you have access to the desktop version? The Reader is free from https://get.adobe.com/reader/

If text is not searchable, it can be OCR'd, but only in the paid version of Acrobat. At first your document appeared to be searchable, then it wasn't. How did that happen?

Do you have the original so you can start again? If so, make a copy first, and make incremental copies along the way that you can go back to.

And I have no idea if this is possible, but instead of driving 60 miles, can you get the forms notarized and send them certified mail or FedEx?

I'm not sure where to send your post. Choices are:

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

Government forms are created using either LiveCycle design or XFA Architecture which cannot be edited using the simple engine of mobile devices.

Adobe Fill & Sign can bypass those limitations but that just adds text as an image on the files. 

In such scenarios, I suggest using the desktop version of Acrobat for best results.
