There are files in Acrobad for iPhone that I can't delete

There are files in Acrobad for iPhone that I can't delete. If I go to iPhone (or iPad), Files, Shared, I see old PDF files that were sent to me via Whatsapp. I can't delete them, they are not displayed among the files on Apple iCloud, they are not present in Adobe Cloud. But they appear if I open them. So somewhere they are stored. If I delete Acrobat from cloud services in File, they disappear. So they are related to Acrobat and Adobe Cloud. But in Adobe Cloud they are not displayed (and therefore cannot be deleted).

Hi @Liber Liber,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

From the description, it seems that some of those files are saved in temporary folders created by other apps, which Acrobat can scan due to their file extensions.

Those folders are hidden and cannot be located directly from your device's files app. They can be deleted if you offload the particular app's data and reinstall it.

Also, you won't be able to delete those files through the Files tab in Acrobat. However, there might be chances that if you can view those files in Acrobat, you can click the three dots to the right of the filename > click "delete."

Note: This would delete the file completely from the source location, and we will not be able to assist in recovering it. Proceed at your own discretion.

Hope this clarifies your question.

Regards,
Souvik.
