Unable to share as PDF

New Here ,
May 12, 2025 May 12, 2025

I've had and Adobe Acrobat account for years. Suddenly, I am unable to share an edited doc as pdf. Instead, an adobe link sent to the recepient.

It will not be sent as PDF even if I send the doc to myself-even though I have an account.
Please help, thanks. Anna.

Hi there

I hope you are doing well. Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue.

It sounds like the Acrobat mobile app is currently using the Share a Link feature rather than attaching the PDF file directly. This typically happens when the document is stored in the Adobe cloud and shared through a cloud-based link rather than as a file attachment.

Would you mind sharing the steps you are taking to share the PDF? A small video recording of the same would be very helpful for more clarity.

Please try the steps below to send a copy of the PDF file and see if that helps.

1. From the list of files, tap the overflow icon (vertical dots) next to the file.

2. Alternatively, open the file and tap the share icon from the top menu.

3. Tap on the 'Send a Copy'
