Unwanted Changing pen colors

Changing pen colors while in "comment" mode make the previous written text change color.

eg:

1. Select black 

2. Write something with the pencil

3. Select another color for the pen. E.g. red

4. The text written in 2. turns red

if in between 2. and 3. I select another tool, except for the eraser, then 4. does not happen.

As per the issue description that the color of the pencil changes unwantedly. Would you mind sharing a few more details to understand the issue better?

1. iOS version and device model?
2. Application version?
3.  If possible, please share a video/screen recording that shows the issue clearly.

Make sure that the app is updated to the latest version.

I hope you are doing well. I am sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

The above example is how the application is designed to work. If you do not select any other tool, the workflow is not disrupted; thus, the application treats the change in color for the entire flow you have been doing.
