Flatten in android app

Hello,

I am using fillable forms from a service based software that need to be edited in the adobe app. In Apple there is a way to change the settings so all shared documents are flattened. However, some of my technicians use android devices and they cannot find the toggle for flattened copies in their settings. Although we are a essential business with covid I am trying to avoid meeting with them and looking into it. If anyone knows where this setting is and can help me that would be terrific. Screenshots would help greatly.

Thank you.

Both of these mobile devices use different features.

In Android OS you select Print, then print to PDF.

I tried this and while it did 'flatten' my document (remove form fields), it also removed the links I had embedded in my PDF. Is there a different way of sharing a flattened form without losing the links? I'm using android. Other colleagues use iPhone. Thanks!

Then in that case the best workaround is to use export to instead of print to PDF.

When you choose export to, select the export to a .docx document.

Make note of where you're saving this exported file. The app will notifiy you when the export is complete.

Then open the Acrobat Reader mobile app; tap the plus sign (blue and white circle icon at bottom right corner of your Android Acrobat Reader mobile app) and select from the context menu "Create PDF".

Select the .docx file from the folder that you saved it to previously.

The app will notify you when this task is complete and it will pop a green tooltip banner with an option to open the newly created PDF.

Click open and test your links.

You should be able to share this file now with all links working.
