Hola!

Hi Marías,

Sorry for the delay in response.

With the new update, we have changed the gesture for highlighting text from drag to long press-and-drag.

Here are the steps to highlight a text:

- Tap on the commenting tools button to get to the commenting mode.

- Tap on the highlight button.

- Long press on the beginning of the text you want to highlight until a magnifying glass appears

- Drag the sentence to highlight the rest of your text.

Alternatively, if you do not have the commenting mode active, you can also long press on a word, and commenting options will appear for you, including highlight.

As you have mentioned above, you uninstalled and re-installed the application.

Uninstalling application on an iOS device removes all the files saved to Local.

Please always make sure that you back up your files/ folders before uninstalling the application.

You may refer to the steps mentioned in the following link to backup your files:

- How to back up and restore PDF documents on iPad/iPhone using iTunes

- Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

Hope that the information helps.

Let us know if you still experience any issue or need any help.

Regards,

Meenakshi
