Invalid document path error

Documents suddenly stopped opening on several fire tablets. Getting document path invalid error msg. Adobe Reader updated on Sept. 2019. Any fix for this?

It is rummored that Amazon has been dropping support to instal Adobe Reader Mobile from the Google App Store, specially for some older tabets.

However, after you update your device's AndroidOS identify which Android OS version is equivalent to your device and manually download the full offline installer for all versions from here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Then select your version by selecting 64bit or 32bit versions for Android 5 and above (lower versions if your Fire Tablet is older, you must be sure what is the Android OS equivalent); then download and manually install the .apk file.
