PDF to PDF/A using C#. Having CAcroAppPrefs reference issue

I'm trying to convert the PDF to PDF/A using C#. Having a CAcroAppPrefs reference issue. There is no clear documentation for which library has CAcroAppPrefs class. If anyone experiences this issue please help me with this.

    Currently, the Acrobat Services API does not support PDF to PDF/A conversion.

      Thank you for your note. Do we have any other way to conver pdf to pdf/a conversion programatically.
