I'm gettting an error message only of "a font package is required to correctly display this page"  The first page of the PDF does not come out but the rest of the document does.  I went to https://supportdownloads.adobe.com/product.jsp?product=10&platform=Windows  and I downloaded the version file exactly as my program "about Adobe ACrobat" said it was.  It gave me an error message telling me I had downloaded the wrong patch.

Hi luisg,

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are getting above mentioned error message when opening a pdf, is that correct?

Could you confirm the version of Acrobat using and the operating system installed on the machine:  Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Also, try downloading the font pack using the following links and check:

Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows : Adobe Reader 11.0.09 Font Packs - Asian and Extended Language Pack

I also tried both links to try to install. The DC download told me that I needed Adobe Reader DC 15.007.20033 or later to be installed before the installation proceeded.

The second download said I needed Adobe XI installed.

You are running the Classic thread which is unusual. The link was for the Continuous thread.

But something weird is going on. The Classic thread is supposed to include the Font Pack for everyone.

However, you still haven't told us whether you have Acrobat Reader, Acrobat Standard or Acrobat Pro. This is as important as the version as the arrangements for fonts are different.
