I Had to re-install Adobe Acrobat 8 standard after an update of windows 7 to windows 10 failed. After a clean install of windows 10 I could install version 8.0, however I was unable to download and instal the various updates to obtain version 8.31 again. Where can I download the required series of patches?

ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/

Tip: there are many many updates but you only have to reboot after the last.

That's what I tried, however, the updates are not available anymore at the adobe site (only from adobe 9 standard onwards), so is there an alternative or hidden older page?

Hi W.O. Molendijk,

First, I want to let you know that Acrobat * is not compatible with Windows 10 Operating System.

Second, regarding the update, what is the exact version of Adobe Acrobat 8 installed?

With regard to touch up, you may have to do a repair install, which may or may not work. I use Acrobat Pro 8.0 and the Adobe staff say  8.0 is not compatible with Windows 10  https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/system-requirements-acrobat-family-prod ucts.html‌  However my Acrobat Pro 8.0 is working fine,

To find your Adobe PDF printer, I'm sure you have looked in Control Panel "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Devices and Printers" for it. If it is not there you may be able to re add it. You should also look in your Device Manager. Mine is listed under Print Queues.

If you are thinking about updating, you might want to read my post Update Acrobat Pro 8.0 in Windows 10
