I have developed a fill-in form using Acrobat Pro DC.
Once completed I want the users to submit the entire pdf form to a folder in my Dropbox account.
In the properties for the submit button I have selected the “Mouse Down” as the Trigger and Select Actions: “Submit a form”. In the dialog box the URL I added is similar to this: https://www.dropbox.com/request/h2zDcDSbC3SbXXXXXX
The link is valid, I have tested it by adding files from other computers.
When activated the “Submit” button works as it should. It triggers a Send/Receive Progress bar, however very quickly there is an error message that reads; “An error occurred during the submit process. The server could not be located”.
I am very much a newbie, so I pretty much need explicit instructions.
I have searched and there are many posts on how to create, but I cat find any that address this specific problem.
Appreciate any help.
Tom

A submit URL must be a web process designed to receive a connection. It is not a simple way of saying "save to a place on the web". The web process is software, and must be written by a specialist professional, as it is a major route of attack of web sites.

You must submit to a process on a server. This process can save the form.

OK, thanks for the info. Where does the "block" actually happen? The URL is a link generated by Dropbox specifically designed to recive incoming files.
Like I said, I am new just trying to learn.

How have you created the link?

It's just completely the wrong kind of thing. Not something you can submit to. The problem is (and many people get stuck on this) is that you see "submit" as another word for "save". It is completely different.

OK thanks. I am having them save it locally then attaching to an email.
Before anyone suggests it, I do know how to use the "mail to:" feature. Unfortunately if the users don't use Outlook, the process is more cumbersome than we want for the users.
