Unable to merge Excel files

New Here ,
Sep 11, 2017 Sep 11, 2017

Good Morning,

One of our users is suddenly unable to merge Excel files.  She used to do it on a regular basis without any issues.  She has Office 2016 which we have since removed and reinstalled, but that did not fix it.  She was using Acrobat 11 Std which is nearing end of life so I upgraded her to Acrobat DC Std today.  Unfortunately, that still did not resolve the issue.  She is still able to combine Word files, but it errors out when doing Excel files.  A yellow triangle with an exclamation point appears over each file as it tries converting it (Excel doesn't pop up either), and when it gets to the end of the files, it display the error “No PDF file was created because Acrobat encountered an unidentified error”.  I appreciate any assistance you can provide!

Thanks,

Matt
