cant scan on new computer

Here I am responding to myself.  My old computer allowed me to scan with Adobe.  This new computer does it outside Adobe and it stinks!  Want the scan capability in the Adobe Acrobat....how? 

 

If this is how Adobe treats its clients it STINKS!!!! No help whatsoever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I told you. Install the software that came with the scanner. (THIS IS NOT PART OF ACROBAT. THIS IS NOT MADE BY ADOBE) If you don't have a CD drive, you can buy one, they are cheap. I don't see how Adobe can help you read a CD. The scanning software might also be available to download from the manufacturer's web site.

Or is it that you can't install Acrobat? What version is it?

Install all the scanning software you had on the old computer. Especially the software from the maker of the scanner. 

Acrobat (not Acrobat online) needs this, it can't talk to a scanner directly.

Can't install Acrobat on new computewr it does not have a disk drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
