dpm.demdex.net web blockage and excessive use of battery power

1. How can I stop dpm.demdex.net from blocking access to my favourite streaming channel (Channel 4.com)?

 

2. Can I reduce the amount of battery power consumed by dpm.demdex.net? It is currently my highest battery user on my macbook, as weel as acting as a web blocker,

Thanks for responding Meenakshi. Here is a screenshot. This is happening with both Safari and Firefox/DuckDuckGo. I use Adobe Reader DC. My DuckDuckGo 'privacy essentials' shows dpm.demdex.net asthe only adblocker.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot.

Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the settings where it says dpm.demdex.net as the ad blocker?

It does not seem to be Adobe related, as each browser has there own ad blocker, which you need to disable from the browser settings.

Please let us know the steps you do to disable the ad blocker from the browser.
