I cannot seem use adobe reader at all for some reason. I have used it often in the past. Now, I cannot even access.
I get the message "an error occurred while trying to access the service.
(What good is a service that I pay a monthly fee for if I cant use it when I need it, and I cant find anyone for support!)
Grrrr. Facing a deadline and an anxiety attack! Help!

Could you please let me know what version of Adobe Reader you are using (Check under Help > About Reader)
What happens if you navigate to "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" and sign in using your Adobe ID and password?
Are you able to convert your files that way?

Please make sure that you're using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC if you're trying to access the Document Cloud PDF services (earlier versions can no longer access these services). You can get Reader DC from this page: https://get.adobe.com/reader.
