Hello I have posted a document to the cloud. Is it possible to make it so the users cannot download the file but just view it in the cloud? Thanks

Hi Noel,

If you have uploaded a PDF file on document cloud, it will be accessible only using your Adobe ID & password. In case if you share your Adobe ID & password they will be able to view and download it.  There is no such feature to stop the user from downloading it as they will be logged in using the authentic adobe ID & password. And Adobe doesn't recommend its customers to share the password with anyone.

Please note that you do not need to share your Adobe ID credentials to make the file accessible to others. You can use the Send & Track feature to make the file available to others. BUT you cannot restrict the access to view-only. If you give the URL to someone, they will be able to both view and download it.

Hope this answers your question.
