Hello, we saw this article and applied it to a development SharePoint Online tenant environment (Microsoft). https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/help/office365-using-sharepoint-onedrive.html
This does work and allows specific user(s) to open the document in Adobe Cloud so user can make comments. However, we are concerned with security. Although the document was opened from SharePoint Online (a secured site), the document opens in new tab with URL documentcloud.adobe.com (exact URL: https://documentcloud.adobe.com/spodintegration/index.html?r=1&locale=en-us). Is the docuement at this point in Adobe or still in Microsoft/SharePoint Online?
Does Adobe save (or temporarily save) the file in Adobe when opened from SharePoint (Microsoft) when "Using Adobe Document Cloud PDF experience for Office 365 on SharePoint and OneDrive"?

Bumping this to ask the same question as above. There is no reply. Does anyone know the answer to:
Does Adobe save (or temporarily save) the file in Adobe when opened from SharePoint (Microsoft) when "Using Adobe Document Cloud PDF experience for Office 365 on SharePoint and OneDrive"?

Adobe Document Cloud PDF experience for Office 365 allows users to open, edit, and save PDF files directly from SharePoint and OneDrive. However, when you open a PDF file from SharePoint using Adobe Document Cloud, it does not automatically save a copy of the file back to Adobe's servers or Document Cloud.
When you edit a PDF file using Adobe Document Cloud PDF experience for Office 365, the changes are typically saved directly to the SharePoint location or OneDrive where the file is stored. Adobe's integration with SharePoint and OneDrive is designed to facilitate seamless collaboration and document management within those platforms.

Still no reply on this topic.
Namely I'm interested in knowing how to build an hyperlink that open directly the sharepoint link into documentcloudadobe.com instead of the web browser.
Any idea on this?

Looking for the same solution, unable to trigger the integration except from the sharepoint link, any pointer would be appreciated.
