What do I do when I keep getting an error message when I try to convert a PDF to Word?

  This has recently become a problem.  I am paid up and I have tried both the internet and converting from the Adobe Reader, but get the same error message

    Sorry to hear you are having problems converting a PDF to Word.

    What is the error message you get?

    What platform (Mac or PC) are you on?

    Do you know if the PDF was created using Acrobat?

    What type of content does the PDF contain (text, images, tables, form fields, footnotes, etc.)?

    The error message says, “An error occurred while trying to access the service.  I have a PC with Windows 7, I don’t know if the PDF was created in Adobe, the document contains text and tables.

    I had this problem before when I logged on to the Adobe website and tried to concert a document from there.  The person who helped me then was unable to figure out why I was getting the error message.  He told me to open the Adobe reader and convert the document from there.  That has worked until now.  I tried to logon to the Adobe website and convert from there, but get the same error message.

    Any help you can provide to resolve this issue is greatly appreciated.  The Adobe converter has been extremely helpful for our Department and I would hate to not have this valuable tool.
