Question

Importing .obj files

When I import a .obj object into Aero (from Sketchup), it loads beautifully. I can manipulate it, add triggers, etc., all seamlessly. It looks and works great in Aero.

But when I share it via QR code and try to view the final experience on an iPhone, the object is invisible - nowhere to be found.

When I combine it with a starter asset (an abstract shape, say), I can see the starter shape fine, but my imported object can't be found.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Chris, Does is show when you preview on your own device? Can you PM me the shared link? I'll investigate. Thanks

Thanks! Here's the link: https://adobeaero.app.link/obyjO8dgNub
Attached are:
  1) .obj file I imported (exported from Sketchup.)
  2) A screenshot of Aero on my Mac - of this .obj file and an abstract shape from the Starter Assets. (It all looks good! But...)
  3) A photo of the model in Aero on my iPhone, after I open it via QR code. (Where's my .obj model? Nowhere to be seen!)

Thanks for your help!

Ok, thanks for this info; I will report to the dev team.

Can confirm, I have the same phone and I am using a 3D t pose skeleton model. the body is gone except for the arms and they are stretched out far and thin, you really have to look for them to see them. Only happens with OBJ not FBX or any other format.
