Issues with Template locking elements when duplicated

Explorer ,
Nov 03, 2025 Nov 03, 2025

Hi,

One of the templates I have created is causing issues when a user duplicates it. The locks and lock with ability to replace are all applied and working fine but as soon as the file is duplicated, the image in this version becomes locked and is unable to be "reframed" the image can be changed but the reframe option becomes locked for some reason.

Is anyone else having this issue or knows how to fix it?

Thanks,

R

Yes, the ticket must be set up by an administrator. You may want to contact your IT department if you're unsure who the administrator is for your account.

Hi @RachelMata

Templates function differently for enterprise users in terms of lock features. Could you please open a ticket with Enterprise Support through the Admin Console, following the process outlined here?

They will be the best resource to assist for this issue.

Thanks,
Dave

@David__B But you need to be one of the administrators to be able to access the support is that correct as I can't see anywhere I can open a ticket - the business has 100s of Adobe users?
