Severe performance issues in editing webpages in Express

I am having severe performance issues in creating and editing webpages.  After typing about 10 words it starts to hang, it takes about 5 minutes to load a previously created page when you want to edit it.  This appeared to start last Thursday and has been progesively getting worse.  This morning I timed the point from when I finished a sentance to when the "share" button appeared again at 4 minutes.  This is having sever impacts.  Other people in my organisation are having the same issues.  We have cleared cahes and cookies etc - and it has not improved anything.  What is going on?  The performance issues needs to be fixed urgently

@David__B  any chance you can help with this ? It looks like many others are experiencing the same performance issue.

From what I can see it appears that the way async saving has been changed as I can see the publish buton flickering on and off where as previously it would stay disabled until the recent update (like a photo grid or block of text) had finished loading. 

Please can you assist as it is taking at least 5 times as long to complete work.

i am losing work as the save isnt working correctly. Adobe you cant charge for products that don't work, this is basic stuff !

This product has not beeen working properly for days and support have not commented on a resolution. 

If you're a paying customer vote this bug up if you think we should be refunded for an enterprise grade product that is stopping us from doing our jobs.

I've given up on Express Webpages, even though i'm a paying customer the slowness and crashing isnt worth it at the moment. I am recreating my work in Microsoft Sway (included with office 365): Microsoft Sway | Create visually striking newsletters, presentations, and documentation in minutes

We are sorry for your difficulties. Have you tried using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) to see if it makes a difference? Try clearing the browser's cache and cookies to check if that helps.

 

Does it happen with all videos or a particular video? Please share a screenshot of the error or screen recording of the workflow to investigate further.

Also, try restarting your computer.

Hi Neelam,

 

I am on Google Chrome. I tried restarting my computer, clearing my cache and cookies as well.

 

The problem is mostly apparent on Split Layout and Glideshows. The text on those layouts takes about 5 to 10 seconds to load when trying to edit text and scrolling through the layouts. The problem stops once the "Share" button lights up, which is about 5 to 10 seconds. It causes delays when working on the project.

I am not sure if this issue was labeled "Major issue", but it's certainly not fixed yet. I am still having lag with Glideshows and Split Layouts.

agree. This performance issue has been occuring since the 26th of July and still hasnt been resolved. I have raised numerous bugs and upvoted others.

Express webpages are still not performing correctly, it is incredibly slow to edit so i wouldnt say the issue is resolved. 

Yes i have tried multiple browsers and incognito mode.
