Unable to import images or projects not loading iOS 18.4 beta

Using the mobile app - it seems none of my projects are opening and am just greeted with the document loading symbol, this goes for even new projects being created, it'll show them, but won't actually open them for editing.

Anyone else experiencing the same problem currently?

Hi everyone,

Thanks for reaching out, and we're sorry to hear you're unable to open or edit projects on iOS 18.4 beta. We know how frustrating that must be!

Since you're using a beta version of iOS, there could be compatibility issues. However, please try the following steps:

  1. Check App Permissions:
Go to iOS Settings > Adobe Express > Photos and make sure "All Photos" or "Full Access" is enabled.

  2. Restart or Reinstall the App:
Try force-closing the app and reopening it. If that doesn’t help, delete and reinstall it from the App Store.

  3. Check iCloud and Device Storage:
Make sure your device and iCloud have enough free space for project data.

If the issue persists, could you please send us a screenshot or short screen recording? That would help our engineering team investigate further, especially with the beta OS involved.

I have also experienced the Adobe Express issue on my iphone with media not uploading. just a blank canvass appears. I have Beta IOS 18.4 installed. when i use my MacPro with Adobe Express it works fine and then immediatly loads it on the mobile version so i can at least then use the iphone version to make changes etc. I contacted Apple support and they suggested i re install the public version of IOS 18 and then try. I asked them to check public forums etc so they can see other users are facing this so they can include this in a new update to resolve. Its pretty annoying i guess

Hi Juan, the bug is in iOS18.4 beta. The fix when available will come from Apple in the form of an update beta or final release of the OS. Unfortunately we have been unable to find a workaround to this bug in Express App code.

Still not working for me either... it's been over a week now. When do we know if this will be fixed? Otherwise I'll just cancel the subscription and delete the app

Hey @juan_8286 @AndreJude, Can you please confirm if your device is not running on beta OS (18.4)? If you're still on the beta update, downgrading to the officially released iOS is the only way to resolve the issue.

It still does not work for me. I've done all the usual "fixes."

I'm using iOS 18.4 beta and have been having these issues for a week now. Unable to upload pics from camera roll to projects or open new ones.

Hey @juan_8286, Welcome to the Adobe Express Community!!

It is due to a bug in the beta OS. Since you are running iOS 18.4 beta, the only workaround is to uninstall the beta version of iOS by reverting to a backup made prior to installing the Apple iOS beta. Apple is aware of the bug and is working on a fix.  iOS's beta release can cause similar problems. It can be worked around by reverting to the actual released version of iOS (Settings/General/Software Update/Beta Updates/turn it off.

Best!

Just a bunch of loading stuff and then white screen. It will resolve itself for a little while and then go right back to doing it (or nothing) again
