Adobe Express crashes when recording voiceover

I've finished editing my video and am trying to record a voiceover. The mic test works fine and I've tried it with several different mics, but when I hit the finish record button, it hangs for a second and then I get a message saying the page is unresponsive.

It’s worked twice out of about 20 attempts. Both of those times I clicked to another tab while waiting. I have no idea whether that had anything to do with it, but I don’t think so because it doesn’t always work either. I’ve also tried closing all other tabs.

There are no other elements added to the video, only what I recorded on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. The video is 18:27 long and is sped up in some parts.

I'm on a Mac Studio using Sonoma 14.4.1 and Chrome version 124.0.6367.202 (Official Build) (arm64). I've closed all other Adobe programs and anything else that eats up memory, cleared my cache, and restarted both Chrome and my computer.

I’ll attach screenshots of the different stages.

I before E except after C. Weird.
