I thought I might be able to use Adobe Express for a client asset system but I am having major issues with the quality of the downloaded graphics. I have read similar posts by other users and the support received was shockingly bad. I just want to check if anyone has solved this issue or if Adobe Express is just not viable for professional graphics creation.
Main issues:
PNG download: File size almost 5x what an optimised file should be and image quality terrible.
JPG download: File size almost 10x what an optimised file should be and image quality terrible
PDF download: File size and quality are reasonable but text colours invert in some cases! Also, PDF is not going to be used by client, they need to output graphics for social media in JPG or PNG formats.
I am now in a situation where the client is expecting a brand asset system setup in Express but I cannot go ahead with this given the issues above.
Anyone got any solutions or is Adobe Express useless?
Thanks, Kieran.

This is a problem that goes back several years without a solution. I don't think this is a consistent issue because I have exported sharp PNGs event recently. I don't think anyone trusts Adobe Express to export an image that is the same as what is seen on the screen. Very unfortunate that THIS is the problem Adobe can't solve.

Thanks for the reply Charles, that's a pity, looks like Express has a major problem then

@designchiefkm @charlesb4548883 Apologies for the delay and the frustration. This shouldn't be happening. Could you share the workflow & screenshots of the projects you're having trouble exporting correctly? If possible, please share the screen recording, or you may invite us to your affected project to help us investigate this issue better.
As a workaround,
You can try downloading a project as a PDF, then use the 'Convert from PDF' Quick actions to get it back in JPG or PNG format as required.
Since some users have reported this issue, our engineering team might require additional information; we'll get in touch with you.
We appreciate your patience.
Regards,
Amitej

I recently start using adobe express beta and have the same issuee... Donwload a png image of a flyer and the quality is terrible and there is no option to change image quality only to resize the image design.

Hello, exporting as PDF is not recommended.
If you are using your own fonts, those will appear as squares in pdf.

Another I'd like to add is that it is possible to resize in terms of dimension but not in terms of quality. I cannot change the pixel quality.

This is really disappointing -- they are probaby losing customers to CANVA, bc compared to Adobe Express, Canva outperforms. What's the use of designing something in this program only to find you can't use it? You can't even convert it to a better resolution by bringing into Illustrator, or Photoshop. You'd have to completely redesign it in another program... so much for the "Express" part.
It would be nice if they would address this.

The PNG download quality is indeed absoute garbage. I will cancel my membership before the end of the 30 day trial. This is absolutely unacceptable from the leader and innovator. WOW. I believe this could be fixed easily and immediately. This is purposeful. [cursing removed]
