Adobe Express have been great with my limited time schedule to build 16X9 or wide screen displays with motivational messages assigned to images. Express had a great tool for replacing images for these Wide Screen so, where is it in the new Adobe Express, I have very little time to look through a instructional video to search what happened to Replace Image on the NEW ADOBE EXPRESS? Why move this operation? It allowed me to quickly search through subject topics to find that image to replace as I had to quickly assemble the photo, message to build an assortment of inspiring message to post on screens--.

I am equally irritated that the tool is gone, as well as the ability to send things forward and backward.

Agreed. In some of our areas time is crucial, and those templates that would generate to the right under options for design layouts we create--well I'd try a few, download them as reminders I found alternatives in case the clients wanted more than one to review and I'd set them in a portfolio for quick retrieval to work from. Or after submitting the designs, I'd work on the alternatives generated by Adobe Express to personalize it with my signature look that many know about my work so it can be for the customer, boss, or neighbor.

The ability to send things forward/backward is accessible via the right-click context menu
And you can also drag to reorder objects using the Layers panel
Hope this helps
