Adobe is deleting all my files - subscription

I began using the free version of Express and then upgraded to a premium plan. It turns out, I need to put my projects on hold for awhile and would like to cancel my subscription temporarily. I contacted Adobe and found out that if I do this I will lose all my project files. I have saved them in PDF format but I will lose all my website page layouts. Does anyone know a way I can save my projects for future use without having to continue to pay for a monthly plan I am not using at all?
