When you upload a video clip and select it, you'd get video edit options on the left side panel. Here you'd get an option to mute the video.

Hey @default31803336uf1nd2, once you click on the video, you'll get a sidebar with video editing options. Set the video volume to 0%, or simply click on Mute underneath the volume slider.

WHat if, when I click the video in Adobe Express, I don't get tht sidebar?

Figured it out if anyone's still looking for the answer. To get that panel to show up, you have to select the video on the canvas, not in the timeline.
