Bring back Adobe Express before 2024 update and give new software its own name

Community Beginner ,
Jan 02, 2025 Jan 02, 2025

This is not a new version, it is completely different software. Please bring back Adobe Express as it was and release this new software as Adobe Social or something like that. I used Express as it was daily and this new software is nothing like it was.

I am sure I am not the only one, please bring Adobe Express back!

Seriously, Scott

I agree completely!! Working on a Macbook via browser and am so frustated. There's no access to fonts or colors to "explore' for the feel you want to create.  You have to search in different apps in creative cloud for fonts and colors. Many of  the templates have horrendous design and suggested type faces are clumsy and limited. When i added fonts to a logo i am trying to develop. it crashed over and over. The express version on my phone offers transparent backgrounds as a download option. Not the "new' full version. You cant design elements and then place them in a brand folder. Then the fact that theres no "save" option.  i have to re-open Adobe express to get something off my screen, in order to create another element to use in the first file! Did that after working on a design for 2 hours and it never even saved what I worked on and i had to rebuild it. I agree that Adobe shold bring back what worked prefore, and then put more functionability into whatever they canto make work flow faster but thisAdobe Express  is a disaster, despite all the little gee whiz AI stuff.  Sincerely, someone who has subscribed for over 10 years!!!

Totally agree. I don't need to see a little animation EVERYTIME I start the app. Coming from a software environment, this is the result of programmers not able to add value to an app so they just add click and stickers to the GUI. Adobe, if you can't improve it, leave it alone.

Totally agree. Give us the option of going back to the former version. My renewal was processed right before I migrated...what a mistake. If I had known I wouldn't have bothered. Absolutely hate how user unfriendly it is and the fact I can not work on it on my iPad in portrait, it reverts to landscape whether I like it or not. And I don't. The whole thing is cluttered and annoying. I was recommending it prior to this new version but I won't be anymore. What a disappointment in what I thought was a great product. Boo.

I agree. I don't have enough time to express my disappointment. It's glitchy and I hate it with a passion. Not user friendly compared to the old version. It sucks. The person that approved the changes needs to be fired.

I'm so stressed with these updates, an entire folder of mine with 40 bits of work has completely disappeared too 😞

100% agree. This is junk. If I wanted to use Canva I'd use their free trash app. This was a great product now it's absolute dumbed down garbage. Throw it out, apologize and get back to what works for pros, have a separate app for teeny boppers (with no money) to use.

That's the problem. They're trying to Canva Adobe Express.
(Don't let me get started on how much I loathe Canva.)

I can't tell you how much I hate the new version of adobe express. Everything it does can be done better in other adobe apps. On top of that, Generative AI is an abomination which should be buried and forgotten.  This is not an update, it is entirely different software. So far, I have avoided updating in spite of the fact that the app keeps trying to trick me into that and migrating my files.  Please, Please, Please keep the old version of Adobe Express!!!!!

The worst thing is they change the interface every couple of days, so every time I have to re-learn where to find the very few things I need for my work. This is not productive, and I am searching for alternatives. I've had it.

Thanks for ruining a good thing. Adobe Express programmers. go ahead look in the mirror and pat yourself on the back! If I was your manager, you'd all be fired for not listening to your customer base!!

Agreed the "new adobe express is so bad, when you compare it to slick old version. never crashed, it was free but i would paid for it. the new version i would need to be paid to use it.  im wonder if there is a single person in the entire community that legitimetaly saying 'id oh i love new version.'

100% agreed. The new Express is terrible on many levels. I can't use it and am willing pay for another app. Photoshop is more intuitive than the new Express weirdly.
