Hi--my organization hired an external contractor to set up a Project for us that includes a series of Templates, files, templates, etc. There are dozens upon dozens of files in this Project.
Long term, I would like to own the Project, or have it be owned by the Company's "brand" account. I can't find any way to do this. I found some workaround online, but they involve sharing a project newly with a user and the instructions don't work for me (I already have access to the Project, I just don't own it).
Any help? What do I do? Any time I duplicate a file, folder, anything in the Project it still isn't owned by me. I can't get it out of the Project or move it anywhere. Help?!

Hi @alyssaisk
Sorry to hear about your difficulties. Do you happen to know if you are working with individual or team/enterprise type account? I know with team/enterprise you can reclaim assets after removing a user. This kind of thing https://adobe.ly/4hX3RJx I don't think this is possible with a personal type account though. If you are using team or enterprise I'd recommend opening a support ticket through the admin console to contact support and go over your options.

Thank you so much, this is so helpful! Not sure what type of account our freelancer has (I will ask), but my org has the Enteprise account. So we would remove her and then reclaim the assets from her? (and then re-share the Project to her?)
I will definitely open a support ticket too, I didn't realize that was an option. I appreciate you!
