Hi all,
I've just created a QR code for my businesses' website in Adobe Express. There are a number of WR generators online that expire after a set amount of time... Is this the same on Adobe Express? Or will the QR code exist forever? Happy to pay for a QR code if necessary, but don't want to print this particular one and put it up on billboards if it is going to expire!
Thank you,
Sarah
Hi,
as said before the QR code after you downloaded the Image as PNG is a static Image that never expire or change.
Hi @Digital-SachinS, Welcome to our Adobe Express community!
I'd like to clarify some things about the QR code generated by Adobe Express so that you can make an informed decision according to your requirements.
Hi @basement5k, Welcome to our community!
At the moment, the QR codes generated in Adobe Express quick action don't get saved in the app, so it's not possible to update an existing QR code in Adobe Express.
Also, as the original QR code was created without a URL, it can't be edited or repurposed. You'll need to create a new QR code with the correct URL and use that from now on.
Best,
Amitej

Hi,
the QR-Code Generator does nothing more then the URL you give convert in a picture. There are now other code involved that would suggest any kind f expire date or so. Once you generated that QR you can use it as often as you wish as long as the URL itself is valid after some year. Hope that helps.

Same question from me. Can I have thousands of people scan this code for unlimited time?
Does Adobe do any pop up blockers or other marketing to the end user who goes to the url?

Thank you for your patience in adding to @Henrik Heigl. QR codes never expire. It may be a bit more complex to scan the code. For more license information, please follow the Adobe Stock License Terms. It contains detailed information about all the available licenses and their use.
Please also take the time to review Adobe's General Terms of Use. It will help ensure that you have a clear understanding of the guidelines.

QR codes have to translated by the website that created them, so MANY DO expire, hence the question about these particular ones. The png file will remain forever as an image, yes, but they are talking about the link that is maintained by Adobe.

We have created QR Code using "Generate QR Code" Section from Adobe Express. We are going to Add this QR code in our Printed Brochures, those brochures will be available offline for 2-3 years minimum. I want to check what is expiry date of created QR Code. Also after login it is not showing history of created QR Codes how and where i can see my all old created QR Codes.
Also, is there any option to check analytics data for that QR codes. i.e. how many times it is scanned, location, devices.
**We are using paid adobe account

Hi @Digital-SachinS, Welcome to our Adobe Express community!
I'd like to clarify some things about the QR code generated by Adobe Express so that you can make an informed decision according to your requirements.
Note: Once the QR is generated with the link, it cannot be redirected to a different URL, even if it is saved under 'Your Stuff'.
Also, Adobe Express does not currently offer built-in analytics like scan count, location, or device tracking. However, as a workaround, you can use a trackable link and then generate a QR code for that link in Adobe Express.
Let us know if you need more info about Adobe Express QR codes.
If you have any feature suggestions, feel free to post them here and directly to our product team.
Hope this helps!
Best!

Hello,
I have recently used the free QR code generator to send out with my wedding invites.
Is there an expiry date on the QR code? E.g. it won't work after 3 months.
TIA,
Beth

Hello everyone! I want to generate a qr code but I don't know if it has an expiration date or if it has an additional cost since it will be used for business. It will be printed on more than 10,000 packages. Where can I find out the conditions? Thanks 🙂

Hi Natalia,
Thank you for reaching out. Here are the answers to your questions. First, you asked about the expiration date, so here is the answer. Please be informed that 'No expiry for a QR code generated from a URL. The QR code will always direct to the URL that is generated. Secondly, you asked if any cost is associated with printing 10,000+ QR codes. You get the answer that 'The QR code generator is free to use. We do not have a cap on the number of uses per customer. Now the last question of yours about the Terms & Conditions attached to it. Please check that so far, we have none.
Please write back if you still have any questions.
Thanks

Hi @Aleona268955622ya4 ,
Thanks for reaching out. Adobe Express doesn't offer link tracking through Quick Actions. However, you may use any existing trackable links and generate a QR code for it.
To know more about how to use QR generator, you may visit: https://www.adobe.com/express/feature/image/qr-code-generator
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Hi, i have created aDobe express QR cide for my website. I want yo print it in stationery.
Is there any expiry date or any scan limit. Plz guide

No, QR codes do not expire when created with Adobe Express. The only limitation would be if the link in your QR code changes for some reason; you would then need to generate a new QR code.

Hi @tracie_4093, Welcome to our Adobe Express community!
Thanks for reaching out. I want to inform you that once you create a QR code with Adobe Express, it does not expire. The QR code will work properly until the linked URL works. Also, as of now, changing the URL linked to the QR code is not possible.
Hope this info helps!

Lets say I have a qr code I made with adobe and I have the file saved but never attached a URL to the code. THe code is already printed. is there no way to just attach a URL to the design?
That doesnt seem like very advanced tech. "qr code xyz has no url attached to it, but we know what the code is and looks like, cant you just reverse the process?"
