Emojis Not Adding

Emojis are not displaying in text when placed in. Adobe Express should support this, there is currently no compatability to place emojis in as text.

Just truly unbelievable that something that is considered such a common basic element in the age of social media, that literally EVERY social media platform has seamlessly integrated into it, is not avaialble in the web platform from the "king" of design tool companies. I've been using Adobe products since 1991. Literally using PageMaker since it was Aldus PageMaker, before Adobe bought them out. Photoshop since v2.0. Dreamweaver since it was Macromedia Dreamweaver, before Adobe bought them out. Things for Express that I have to go search online for 5 or 10 minutes to figure out where they are and/or how to access/use them, that I can go to Canva (which I never even touched before 7 months ago) and do what I want to do in under a minute. I just don't get it. It's like someone said: Hey, let's design an online platform that kinda looks like Canva, but is as complex and arduous to use as Premiere or After Effects. Oh, by the way, make sure you don't include emojis, 'cuz who would want to use those anyway...?!?

Hey guys.. download this font and upload it to Adobe Express:

The link you provided (the updated one) did not work. I still get a box with an "x" in it. How does Adobe still not have emojis in its social media creation software in 2025? This is making me leave.

Got it.. here is an explanation on how to use it:
1) Download the font NotoColor Emoji
2) Upload the font NotoColor Emoji inside Adobe Express (under text you see the option)
3) Open the font on Font Book (MacOS) or similar, so you can see the emojis, select and copy
4) On Adobe Express open a text box with NotoColor Emoji selected as the font and paste it.

Worked as a charm here. 🙂

Here you can also see all emojis from this font:

Hey there,

I recently tried Adobe Express to create some social media posts and realized I couldn’t use emojis 😅.

Honestly, emojis are such a big part of online communication, and not having them feels like a major limitation.

This might be a dealbreaker for me—I’m not sure I’ll use Adobe Express again for posts unless this feature gets added. Any idea when/if it’ll be integrated?

Would love to hear if others feel the same!

Cheers! 😊
