Thanks for the response and the screen recording; I tried replicating the workflow on an Android device, and it worked fine. Could you share which Android device you're working on, its OS and since when are you having trouble with this issue? Did you try working after restarting the device?
Please ensure your device and the Adobe Express app are updated to their latest version.
You may also try reinstalling the app if the issue persists.

When exporting a project with blend modes as a transparent image, the output may seem unintuitive, but it's a product of how the background is removed.
You should achieve the desired output by reversing the colours and blend mode, i.e., using a black background, white text, and the "multiply" blend mode.
