This is the first time I haven't been able to download my Instagram reel. It's my first time doing a reel around 45 sec, I usually do reels around 30-35 sec. I keep getting the same error message: "Download failed. An error occured while downloading your file. Try again."
I even tried downloading it on my iPhone and it won't do it there either. I've deleted my cache, restarted the app and still no luck.
This is really interrupting my work. Any suggestions?
Hello, I tried all of the above and nothing worked. Then a thought came to me about the photos I was adding and I saw that the size of each image was quite large (GB), so I resized every image in Photoshop, replaced all images in the reel, shortened the reel to 35 sec, and then it downloaded perfectly. I plan on testing the reel at a longer length (45 sec) to see if the resized images will also work for a longer reel time. Food for thought for all Abobe Express users, don't have your images too

Hi
@FromTheBlue555
Welcome to the community! We're sorry to hear about the difficulties. Do you see any exclamation marks on images/videos? Did you try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference?
Also, try clearing the browser's cache and cookies, and restarting the browser and try again. For more information on how to clear cache and cookies check this link- https://adobe.ly/4a5ipUF and how to use incognito mode- https://adobe.ly/4a2UzZV
If that doesn't help, can you share the project URL with us via private message with edit access? Private messages should be accessible from the envelope in the top right corner. This should be the direct URL

Tarun

Hi, this kind of error can sometimes happen when the app struggles with larger files, like reels over 30 seconds. You’ve already tried the common fixes like clearing cache and restarting, which usually help in most cases. Another option is to save the reel directly through alternative tools or apps designed for downloading Instagram content safely. These can handle longer videos without getting stuck midway. If you’d like to explore a more reliable solution that also lets you save reels, stories, and even view full-size profile pictures, you can read more about apps that provide smoother downloading and extra features. Hopefully this helps you get your reel saved without further interruptions!
