How do I add layers from one project to another?

I've accidentally done it before but no idea how to actually do it.

Select the element you want to copy, either in the layer stack or on the project canvas.
Use the keyboard shortcut Cmd/Ctrl+C to copy.

You could have the destination project open in another browser window or simply close that project and open the that destination project.

3. Use the keyboard shortcut Cmd/Ctrl+V to paste the element into the new project.
