I find it hard to belive that this feature wouldn't be in something like Adobe Express but I cant find it and I'm really hoping someone can show me how you can do this in the app.

When I google search all I get is how to do it in Photoshop and I can't believe thats the only way.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Thnx!

The response from @Imaginerie is good because it helped me realize that the solution for what's being asked is actually a two-step process. First, you need to use Adobe Express to make a video from multiple images. Then you need to use Adobe Express to make a GIF from that video.

A helpful YouTuber named Mesha Daniel has brief demos of each of these steps:

The best way to do it in Adobe express would be to make a regular video (so compile your scenes, make your transitions, animations etc) and export as PM4. Once you got your MP4, go to the quick actions and choose "convert to Gif"

a few caveats:
Gif is an old format. It only accpets a limited amount of colours and size.
Keep it very small. (I think the maximum should be 1500 px wide)
keep it short
Be prepared to have the quality degraded compared to your MP4 (that's what GIF does)
You have more options to tweak the quality in pro software like Photoshop, but you can still do it in Adobe Express.

For info: Here are the recommendations for uploading on Giphy, which is the platform that hosts GIF for the majority of social media (if not all)

Imaginere, absolutely a terrible reply that did NOT answer his question, as I have the same question. The question has NOTHING to do with videos!!! I have a folder of 30 different images and I want to SIMPLY and EASILY turn those images into an animated GIF and there is nothing to be found on the net about this and Adobe Express! And I can never get any support from Adobe WHEN I NEED IT!

I am not an Adobe employee, so sorry for the "terrible reply" I gave you. I am only volunteering here.
You can't do frames by frames in Adobe Express but you can do that in Photoshop...

PS: This is a community based forum. This is quite unlikely you'll get Adobe folks answering here unless for bug reports or very technical stuff. Most of the answers you see here are done by people who give their time to help other users, so being rude will just deter volunteers from answering your questions in the future.
