Question

In Android Express has become default browser

In Android, Express has made itself the default browser.  Anytime I click a link in Outlook for Android it now launches Express instead of my browser.

I checked default app settings,  in there, Brave is still set as the default browser.

How can I fix this?

Hi GilmourB,

Just a guess, but I wondered if you somehow accidentially set Adobe Express to be the home page of your browser. Maybe launch the browser app and check the settings to see if this is the case?

Great suggestion, just checked and that's not it.

It's links in emails that are triggering Express.

Got it, I also wondered if it might be a file association setting. Something like this https://howtodoninja.com/how-to/open-setup-file-type-associations-android-default-app/

Screen shot showing how Express has become default browser and tries to "download" web sites.

Outlook, Express and Brave cache and settings have been reset to default but this keeps happening.
