Missing shapes/icons in Adobe Express Mobile app!

Adobe recently changed how shapes/icons appear within the Adobe Express Mobile app. A more extensive selection will be available in the new mobile version.

I feel this was extremely deceptive. All the shapes were available when I used the trial then I signed up for pro. They got my money and boom no shapes. I'm upset and feel like I've been ripped off. The only reason I went pro was to have accesss to all those shapes. Shape up adobe!!!

Well they are obviously not going to do anything about this. I'm canceling my subscription I can't use the app without it. The new beta version does me no good because it isn't available for iPad. The desktop version does me no good because it won't load my created designs and the shapes aren't there either. I've been ripped off. I want my money back.

So the solution for iPad users is purchase a desktop computer?  I've based my entire retail store advertising on creativly using "shapes" for years. They are in ALL my media, and I use them extensivley weekly for fresh ads, flyers, in-store graphics etc.  And now they are GONE.  And I am paying THE SAME SUBSCRIPTION FEE. 

And your solution is to scrap my brand new iPad pro, and get a desktop computer.   Unbelivable.

Please get these back on IOS ASAP.  What a ridiculous oversight on your part, completely shutting out loyal users.

There used to be thousands of shapes in the app but now there's less than 100. Any reason why?

Hey, we are sorry about the removal of shapes in the existing Adobe Express app, however many shapes are available in the new version of Adobe Express on mobile. You can get access here:

Additionally, in the new version of Express, you are also able to use additional 'add ons' to get access to even more shapes https://developer.adobe.com/express/add-ons/

I need these yesterday.  They are NOT available on the new mobile app, in fact, the new app is not available for iPad.  Just make them available again, so that I may return to my retail business, instead of frantically trying to find alternative apps. I am canceling my Adobe subscription tomorrow if this is not resolved, I can no longer waste time nor money.  What a crappy thing to do to your loyal subscribers.

Oh my god. I just want a basic rectangle, which I use for like, everything. My kingdom for a rectangle. I have gone around telling everyone how great this program is (I use on desktop) and now its limiting funtion?

Please add all Icons available under Shapes Tab in previous version to New Beta version. Import all those icons in Beta version on high priority as our day to day work is stuck because of that. Collection of icons was good in old version.  Hope someone is listening to this and will act fast on this. Also by when we can expect full fledged version of new beta app.

I have downloaded the beta version but icons are missing in beta version.

Yes 100% I see icons missing.

For example, if I search for LAND icon, I used to get lot of good options
in earlier version.
Also I am attaching the of the LAND icon which was available earlier but
it's gone missing in new version. Please refer attachment The attached icon
is not available under beta version when searched for LAND.

I am sure many more such icons are gone missing. These Icons are lifeline
while creating creative images. Please get back all precious Icons plus add
some more to it.

Hope all icons of previous version will be imported to new beta version
error free.

Also I want to Add one more thing. When I searched for LAND icon in Beta version,it shows very few relevant LAND Icons and at the same time it also shows some irrelevant icons which has nothing to do with LAND as a searched item. Infact it has become more time consuming affair to search relevant icon for searched word. Earlier version was much better with respect to Icons in particular. Lot of good options we could see but now in Beta version, that's not the case. So you need to check on that please. Thanks & Regards

Hi, Thank you for your reply. Please don't retire icons from the previous version. It has good collection of Icons. Request you and Adobe Team to consider this request in the interest of all those individuals and organisations who are using Adobe Express in their day to day life.  Kindly bring back all those icons. You can always add new icons in beta version. Hope Adobe Team will honour this small request.

You absolutely need to get the various icons back (normally found under "shapes".  I went into my AE tonight and thought something was wrong.  So unhappy that they are gone.  I hope you guys bring them back, they were definitely valuable.

Did I miss the email that said to prepare for all of these shapes to be be missing on a certain date?  Was there a warning?  Or was this just a decision made without considering who would be affected by it?

We don't feel they are missing. They are missing and we paid for an app that had them.

Design assets can not be modified, for example, logo assets appear to be as on image. One can not separate the elements to create a new design.

Hey there, shapes can be modified, but design assets cannot be. But you can use the 'Adjustments' and 'effects' options to change the colour of them.

I love Adobe Express, but suddenly there are hardly any designs/shapes available within the iOS app. Is this any error or is this the new model? I had so many to choose from, now there's hardly any.

I used shapes on my IPad daily. For months. When it went away I was still wrapping up a major project so i held off on creating anything new, hoping shapes would be fixed long before now. I can't create anything new. I pay for a membership I can't even use. It's impacting my business capabilities. Shapes should not have been removed until the new version was ready. Any idea when shapes will be restored, or should I go ahead and cancel my membership??

We understand your frustration, and this is not what you expected. You can search in Design Assets or Icons to find similar elements you're looking for. We know it might differ from the shapes, but it's an alternative solution. You can join the waitlist for the beta app version.
