NO DELETE BUTTON

I open a new project. I add a shape (or whatever) to the project. I change my mind, need a different thing there. *There's no way to delete the shape.* I google/search/adobe help to find how to delete a shape on a project. I find nothing relevant.

If you select the shape and hit the delete/backspace key it should delete it.

I am having this issue now BUT the "fix" above doesn't work. The delete key does literally nothing. This changed in the last 6 hours, as it was working earlier. I am using the browser version of Adobe Express in Chrome on a Mac.

 

The delete key works in all other applications, so its not my keyboard. I see this issue has started popping up in other contexts (unable to backspace in text). Will this be fixed soon?

Same issue. 

 

This issue popped up in the last 6 hours. There have been no changes to my OS in that time, so this is an Adobe Express issue.

 

I am using the browser version in Chrome, running on a Mac.

 

This issue is limited to Adobe Express ONLY.

 

I use this tool daily in my job and it currently is unsuable due to not being able to delete any elements from my designs.

 

When can I expect this to be fixed?

We're sorry to hear about the difficulties. Did you try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference?
