Great question, I don't think I've ever heard of someone losing access in this kind of scenario. It would also depend on how the account got deactivated. Typically, for non-payment an account changes from paid to free. For a team or enterprise account, the admin for these types of accounts can remove and reassign licenses. I have heard of scenarios where the account holder lost access but not someone they were sharing with.
