rulers and grids and guides-Adobe Express

I cannot belive that Adobe express does not have guides and rulers. I see htis has been mentioned many many times but has not been added. My kids bought me a subscription for Adobe Express Christmas (thinking it would be much better than Canva) but I am VERY dissapointed. I keep having to go back to Canva to get things done. VERY SAD

Adding my voice to this. This is literally one of the only things that's keeping me from fully transitioning away from Canva right now. This seems like such a basic feature to not have available - I can fake it by adding lines or other shapes to use for alignment, but that's such a ratchet work around.

Indeed, the lack of rulers and guides for professional use is a major flaw. It's July 2025!

I use adobe for shared project with interns. I understand why it wasnt a main feature to start - you can go to any of the other adobe programs and have that detailed experience. But I would love for it to also be included. 

There is Photoshop as a web version, much like Express, this does feature the Ruler/guides if you are looking for a web based program.

I agree completely! I was  die hard Adobe user and fan for years until they priced me out. Went to Canva but wasnt as professional with the lack of vector software. So went back to Express but so disappointed I will be seeking other options. Come on now, still no rulers????

100% agree, absolutley no reason this has not been added other than Adobe is lazy and just ignores their customers as it has been years now ... will go back to Canva.

They should not even include templates where measurements matter if guidelines are not available. I can't even make a simple resume because I can't line up headers. 🤦🏻‍:weiblich:

You have been saying this for a cpl yrs now judging by old posts and threads.  How can you say you understand how important it is at this point?  Its a simple and basic tool for design yet still missing. Clearly adobe don't care and rather we switch to canva, which I didn't know had grinds and will switching my newest project over there since its an absolute must for it. Spent over 12 hrs trying to make stuff right without it. I found this looking for a way to active the grinds that apperently yall dont have. What a waste of time and such a disappointment. Adobe isn't new to design. No excuse at this point.

The Gridlines and rulers feature is a work in progress. There are other related features to this as well. You can find the current statutes about it here: https://adobe.ly/46gaWRo

With the recent updates, the app now has Safe zones for social media platforms and custom margins for print. With gradual progression, we'll soon see the gridlines and rulers feature, too.
