Transferring Ownership on Adobe Express Brands and Libraries

New Here ,
Mar 06, 2025 Mar 06, 2025

I work with high turn-over groups that need to build libraries and brands in Adobe Express for fast content creation. Is there a way to transfer ownership of these libraries and brands so each new person isn't having to recreate them every six months or so. Building them myself isn't an option and building new libraries with the amount of assets we have is inconvient.

Hi @linda_304

Great question. The only way I know of to transfer ownership of a library is for the owner to export it as a .cclibs file and the recipient to import it. When the library is imported by the recipient, it creates a new instance, with the importer being the owner. This can be done from the library panel within the desktop products. Here is a help article describing the process.

Libraries and brands are essentially interchangeable

Hope that helps,
Dave
