Buttons are constantly going missing,
now the media button vanished,
Changes to software,
LEAVE THE SOFTWARE ALONE, IT'S MAKING YOU MONEY, ISN'T IT?
Please stop touching it. Our design team is struggling with adobe because of this, PLEASE STOP. It works, don't touch it, invest something new with that software engineering budget, stop touching stuff.
Sincerely,
Infuriated Adobe Express Customer.

Sorry to hear that you are finding the constant changes infuritating. Agree that this is something the team needs to take into consideration even as it makes tweaks guided solely by the desire to make the product better and approachable for eveyone (including new users who aren't familiar with the interface).
As for your immediate queries, you can access the Media and Elements functions by first clicking the + Add button; here's a screenshot
Hope this helps,
Abhi G

I don't mind it being accesible in other places but can you put the upload image and the add text BACK to the side-rail and not a couple of clicks away?
We're trying to move fast here...this UI change slowing me down...
keep those bad boys under YOUR STUFF and above ELEMENTS!

There doesnt seem to be a way for me to edit my post, so i'd like to add today's update:
As of today, there are no quick buttons on the left to acces design elements, photos, or text. Now you have to first click "add" and then hover dropdown menus to select what you're looking for. This is so insane. Why are we continuing to make this application so miserable to use??

Hey @MHolfordGBP, Are you still getting the UI you shared in the screenshot? For me, as of now, I'm getting this UI (see attached screenshot)

Thankfully, it seems as if this has gone back to normal as mine reverted to the same as what your screenshot shows around 12 PM for me.

Just kidding. As of 2 PM today, it's randomly back to this... What is happening?

You burried all of the tools in the new update making adobe express be more like adobe depressed. What's the point of having the web app if the design goes against the basic principle of reducing clicks in UI? This update significantly increases the time needed to create stuff. Please at least allow the side bar to be customized so that if you guys choose to screw things up that we can at least work around it.

Hi, David,
Can you tell me why is Adobe changing the Express interface every couple of days? Do they think it's funny to search for your functions every time because someone though to make "a contribution" to justify their paycheck? It's a mess, and makes me lose too much time. Things that were just a click away are now tucked behind menus and you have to learn this everytime something changes. Ditching Adobe Express precisely for this reason, I don't need a productivity app to change interface every couple of days.

Hi @crisagatie,
I understand your concerns and appreciate your feedback. Adobe Express has been updated to include various new features designed to enhance your creative experience. These updates include advanced social media tools, video creation capabilities, and AI-powered features that can help streamline your workflow and boost productivity.
The new version aims to provide a more comprehensive suite of tools for content creation, making it easier to produce high-quality visuals and videos. If you need assistance navigating the new features or have specific questions, I'm here to help!
Please feel free to let me know what you need, and I'll do my best to help you.
Best Regards

None of which justify changes in the workflow. Having everything at one click in the left ribbon and then moving them inside hidden menus is unproductive. Even less productive is changing said menus every couple of days. These kinds of interface changes should not happen more than once a year. As you see, nobody is happy with the new interface, nobody likes your changes. This level of disconnect with your users for no good reason is insane. Rest assured, I found an alternative, god help it would not be infested by the same urge to change things just for the sake of change. I'm sure others have also had enough of your changes and are looking for alternatives. I see it on Reddit and other communities.

Whenever I see the words "to enhance your experience" I feel like either a bot answered or someone is using a boilerplate answer to use when people are really unhappy with something NO ONE ASKED FOR.

Will be deleting my account.. Let me know if you go back to the old version.
These AI updates are rediculous, unworkable and badly designed

Hey @whiteisland, We understand your frustration with the recent changes. Unfortunately, reverting to older version of Adobe Express won't be possible. However, our teams are working on making Adobe Express more stable and faster and addressing performance issues.

I think I speak for a large number of clients when I say that you are not correctly identifying the core issue. The issue, as I see it, is that your updates are making work more difficult. You are burying frequently used features like "replace image." You make it more difficult to manipulate text for no apaprent reason. We don't want text manipulation buried in several layers of menus....we want it front and center and accessible.
I have been a believer in Adobe products for more than twenty years. However, your "innovation" for the sake of having something to put in your monthly releases is exhausting and making the Adobe Express product less useful.
Performance is not MY primary issue. - it is the intuitive nature of the workflow.
