Bringing generative AI to video with Adobe Firefly Video Model
Hello community!
We’re excited to share progress on the all-new Firefly Video Model, which will soon offer Text-to-Video and image-to-video capabilities across @AdobeCreativeCloud, @AdobeDigMktg, and @AdobeExpress workflows.
The Firefly Video Model generates dynamic video that editors can use to quickly ideate their creative vision, fill gaps in their timeline, and add new elements to existing footage. It is designed to be commercially safe and will be available in beta later this year.

Hi @Carl-Chapman , I am in the same today, I cannot create more without paying and I am a beta tester as well. I reported as a bug as well. Hope this is only a mistake 😉

So, is this going to be apart of the creative cloud plan? Because for some reason, its prompting me to buy a plan? which is confusing becuase I have the Creative Cloud All App 100Gb plan? Maybe becuase its in Beta still? Would like some clarifications here. Thank you.

Same situation here. I have the all creative cloud plan with a lot of credits, and I've just received confirmation I'm in the beta program. Unfortunately, in few minutes, maybe a couple of videos created, Firefly ask me to subscribe a pay plan to use the beta. Hope this is a mistake

I'm hoping so as well. Awaiting a reply from a Adobe expert. Regards.

Please let me know which geographic locations can actually use it. Tried uploading a frame (are there any specifications for file format?) but nothing happens

Oh my, this time you guys really outdid yourselves! I just animated an image, and the result is simply outstanding! In my humble opinion, it even surpassed SORA, which genuinely surprised me. I hadn't opened the Firefly page in ages because I always found the quality of the generated images quite poor. This time, I used an image generated by DALL-E, enhanced it in Photoshop at 8K and 300ppi, and the final video turned out fantastic! (I never thought I'd say this to Adobe, but the truth is, you did an impressive job.)

Hello,
I tested the AI Video Beta program, but after generating only two videos, I am now being asked to subscribe to a paid plan. Is this normal?
This tool should be included in the Creative Cloud offering. I currently have the Creative Cloud All Apps 100 GB subscription, and this purchase request seems a bit confusing to me.
Thank you in advance for your clarification!
Have a nice day.

Same here! Was finally accepted to join the Beta program but was hit by Paywall after 2 prompts! As a long-term subscriber to Adobe's services, I sadly kind of doubt it's a mistake...

Hi @Aurore158, @raniquel15920998, and @boucherf,
Please see this thread: P: Plan error in generating video, for more information on this.

Thank you @droopydog500 , this confirms this is not a bug and that this is indeed Adobe's commercial strategy (although omitting that "limited trial" is only 2 prompts).
So in the end it's all in the choice of words. We are not a beta community, we are paying users.

Well, paying for a beta, also asking for feedback, seems a little bit weird... It doesn't make any sense for users that pay for full Creative Cloud plan. By the way it's really not clear that you cannot use your credits for video. Also the choice to limit the beta testing on two (TWO!) video creations is simply useless

Hi, I was really looking forward to try Generate Video (beta)! My request to join the beta community was finally accepted after 6 weeks!
But what a massive disappointment: I was only given 2 tries (2x 5s videos) before being hit by a paywall for a yearly subscription. As decade-long fully paying subscriber to Adobe's Suite, I would have expected better and more. And if Adobe is truly seeking meaningful feedback from beta users, offering them only two prompts is clearly not serious. So my only feedback will be about Adobe's commercial strategy: brutal, as always. Sorry guys.

You expected more from Adobe than trying to squeeze every penny out of long time subscribers -- which if you remember all the rate increases were justified by the coming ai feature they now wanna charge us for.

Right I remember what felt like every month in last year they were increasing prices, I went from paying $52.99 to now paying $59.99; it felt like every month they would charge an additional $1. Smh!

I'm unhappy about having to pay for the videos you created. Adobe subscribers, especially those who subscribe to all Adobe applications, should be able to download them for free.

But now my credits don't work. Firefly just tries to force me to by more despite having 80% initiated.

I also don't understand why I am being given credits that I can't spend without ANOTHER subscription

I can't provide feedback because I received the "You're in" email yesterday afternoon, and when I tried to access Firefly this morning I'm being told I do not have access to this feature and need to contact my administrator. Why am I being told I can access something I cannot access? I signed up to access the beta version back in October at Adobe Max, and I don't mind the fact that it has taken months, but I do mind the tease.

Hello @defaultan9qgo38kr13,
Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.
Are you using a personal creative cloud plan or one from a company/school/organisation (an enterprise or teams plan)? If it is an enterprise one, is it for a school?
Thanks,
droopy

Yes it is an enterprise account at a university.

Ok, apologies. At this time EDU enterprise accounts do not have video creation in their plans. I am sorry you received that email. I think Adobe probably sent that email to everyone on the beta waiting list and did not filter out accounts whose plans did not have video generation in them.

Ah, that's a big mistake. Hoping they send a clarification email to our segment of the list. But, after seeing everyone say that they only get two tries before they are asked to increase their accounts, I don't want access to this feature anyway. It was pretty bad when it was demo'd at Max. Just thought it might have been cool after waiting 4 months.
